How to Make a Kakashi MaskMore Exciting
Hatake Kakashi is a ninja character from the "Naruto" anime series, first shown in Japan. He is human in form, but the lower part of his face is hidden by a face mask. He also wears a distinctive headband that wraps around the circumference of his head. You can replicate the mask easily by recycling some basic household materials.
Things You'll Need
Measure the circumference of your head. Hold the tape around the back of your head and bring it forward to your nose. Kakashi's mask covers the lower part of his face.
Cut off the bottom 10 inches of the black T-shirt. This will be slightly adjusted so that it slips over your head and covers your face from the nose down. First, cut along one seam so that you have a long piece of material.
Measure along the length of the black material. Mark the point that matches the circumference of your head, then add 1 inch. Cut along the material widthwise, then put glue along one edge. Bring the opposite end to this edge and stick them together. You will now have a loop of black material that fits neatly over your head. Leave the glue to dry.
Measure the circumference of your head from around the back to your forehead. Cut a rectangle of cardboard that's the same length plus 1 inch, with a width of 3 inches.
Paint the cardboard black.
Stick a rectangle of aluminum foil to the center of the cardboard strip. It should measure approximately 2/3 the width of your forehead.
Create a headband with the length of cardboard. Hold both ends and wrap it around your head. Twist it so that the foil is at the front of your head and hold the ends in place while you take it off again. Glue the ends together to create a loop. Wait for the glue to dry.
Try on your mask. Slip the black material over your head. Position it so that it rests on your nose and covers the lower part of your face, then position the headband around the top of your head. Make sure that the foil is at the front.
